Parent Coaching

“The parent-child connection is the most powerful mental health intervention known to mankind.”

~ Bessel van der Kolk

“When little people are overwhelmed by big emotions, it’s our job to share our calm. Not join their chaos. ” ~L.R. Knost

Parenting can be overwhelming, especially with a child experiencing behavior difficulties and special needs. As a parent myself, I understand how hectic life and the daily grind can be and how lost one can feel in figuring out how to best support their children when they are struggling.

In my experience as a BCBA, I have spent several years providing home services to support parents and their children. I have always found the best approach is a collaborative one where we work together as a team and have clear and open communication. I will provide education and guidance on evidence-based behavior management strategies and together we will find the best treatment package that is feasible with your lifestyle and schedule.

My background as a licensed mental health counselor enhances my services through a humanistic, non-judgmental, and solution focused approach  I am sensitive to the fact that parenting a child with special needs and behavioral challenges can feel isolating at times. I aim to provide clarity and a sense of peace that quiets the chaos and confusion you may often experience, offer tools to empower you, and strengthen your connection with your child. I look forward to providing the support and compassion you need.

For parent coaching services, I offer a hybrid of Telehealth and in home coaching (depending on location) based on ABA principles.

Three and Six month parent coaching packages are available.
